Emergency Trailer Repair in Phoenix, AZ

Trailer trouble rarely waits for a convenient moment. Call us for urgent help with flat tires, blown bearings, dead lights, brake failures, and broken couplers.

A trailer breakdown can stop a work day, strand a load of equipment, or leave you on the shoulder of a busy freeway. Phoenix Titans, LLC helps Phoenix-area trailer owners with urgent repairs through our shop and mobile service. Our normal business hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and urgent requests are handled as availability allows. The fastest way to reach us is to call (480) 747-1119.

What Counts as an Urgent Trailer Repair

Some problems make a trailer unsafe to keep towing. A flat or shredded tire, especially on a single-axle trailer, should be dealt with before you drive any farther. A blown wheel bearing can overheat and lock the hub, and in severe cases it can damage the spindle. If you have smelled hot grease or seen smoke from a wheel, stop. Brake failure, whether the trailer pushes the truck or a controller reports no connection, is another situation that calls for immediate attention. Lights that go out completely leave other drivers unable to see your turns and stops, which is especially dangerous at night or during monsoon dust storms. A cracked, bent, or unlatched coupler is one of the most serious issues of all, because the trailer could separate from the truck.

Phoenix conditions make many of these failures more likely. Summer heat drives up tire pressure and bearing temperatures, monsoon storms bring sudden rain, wind, and low visibility, and long climbs on the I-17 north of the valley add sustained load to brakes and hubs.

What to Do While You Wait

Your safety comes first. Move as far from traffic as you can and turn on your hazard lights. If you are on a freeway shoulder, stay well away from passing lanes, and if it is safe, wait behind a barrier or off the road rather than standing between the truck and traffic. If anyone is in immediate danger or the trailer is blocking a lane, call 911 or local emergency services first. Do not attempt unsafe roadside repairs, such as crawling under a loaded trailer or jacking it on soft or sloped ground. In summer heat, keep water on hand and stay out of direct sun when possible. When you call us, have your location, the trailer type, axle count, and a description of the problem ready.

Urgent issues we can help with include:

  • Flat Tire and Wheel Problems: Changing tires and addressing damaged wheels or lug studs.
  • Blown Bearing Repair: Replacing failed bearings and hubs, with follow-up through our trailer axle repair service if the spindle is damaged.
  • Lighting Failures: Restoring brake, turn, and marker lights so the trailer is visible again.
  • Brake Failures: Diagnosing brakes that drag, lock up, or stop working, with full repairs through our trailer brake repair service.
  • Broken Couplers and Chains: Repairing or replacing damaged couplers, latches, and safety chains.

When to Call

Call right away if a tire is flat or coming apart, a hub is smoking or very hot, you hear grinding from a wheel, the trailer lights are out, brakes are not working, or the coupler looks damaged or will not latch. If you are not sure whether it is safe to keep driving, stop and ask.

Whether your trailer can make it to our Phoenix shop or needs our mobile service where it sits, contact Phoenix Titans, LLC at (480) 747-1119 and we will let you know what help is available.
